At Siwave we take your privacy very seriously. Here are the main guidelines that we follow:

  • We only ask you for personal information that are essential for providing your with our service.
  • We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.
  • We don’t store unencrypted personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of our site.
  • We protect your intellectual property as if it's our own.

SiWave Corporation (“Siwave”) operates the siwave.io website. It is Siwave’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our website.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, Siwave collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Siwave’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Siwave’s visitors use its website. From time to time, Siwave may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Siwave also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users. Siwave only discloses logged in user IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to Siwave’s websites choose to interact with Siwave in ways that require Siwave to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Siwave gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. In each case, Siwave collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Siwave. Siwave may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. For instance, Siwave may monitor the most popular pages on the siwave.io site or use spam screening services to help identify spam. Siwave may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Siwave does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

Siwave discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Siwave’s behalf or to provide services available at Siwave’s websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using Siwave’s websites, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. Siwave will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Cookies

Siwave does not use cookies to track visitors. Instead Siwave stores the data needed to help identify registered users, their usage of Siwave website, and their website access preferences, etc. in the browser localStorage which gets cleared at the end of each user session.

Usage Tracking

Siwave collects certain information through usage tracking. The purpose of usage tracking helps Siwave to better understand our users and their service needs. This information allows us to continuously improve our product as well as our FAQ. The information may include the form and entry statistics to help us make sure our features and updates get tested in situations that closely match our customers’ site environments and Siwave usage.

Our usage tracking includes collecting information as the region, timezone, browser type and IP address of the registered user. In addition, the usage tracking may include details about the model uploaded by the users such as number of layers, etc. in the model to help us understand how Siwave's app is used and track any problems with the use of the app.

Opting Out of Usage Tracking

If you are a registered user with Siwave, then you will by default be opted into usage tracking. Usage tracking is a fundamental aspect of our service, without it we will not be able to provide the requested service, and therefore cannot be turned off at this stage.

Users Residing outside the USA or Canada

If you are not a resident of the USA or Canada then by signing up for an account on siwave.io and using our service you explicitly consent that your data to be stored on servers in either the USA or Canada. All the terms of the current privacy policy agreement will apply regardless of your country of residence.

Your Data Protection Rights Under The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

If you are a citizen of a European country, you may have specific data protection rights under the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”) and the equivalent Swiss arrangements. We aim to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal information.

In certain circumstances, you have the following data protection rights:

  • request a copy of your Personal Information;
  • request that your inaccurate or incomplete Personal Information is corrected;
  • request that your Personal Information that we are not legally required to keep be deleted and destroyed;
  • object to processing or request that the processing of your Personal Information is restricted in certain circumstances or withdraw consent, including to opt out of receiving communications (including electronic) from us;
  • not be subject to automated decision making; and
  • request the transfer of your Personal Information.

  • details of your request and/or the information you want. Please be as specific as possible.

Business Transfers

If Siwave, or substantially all of its assets were acquired, or in the unlikely event that Siwave goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Siwave may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.

Siwave may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in Siwave’s sole discretion. Siwave encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy.
